Defense Against

Description

Defense Against is a modification of the classical formula Yu Ping Feng San (Jade Windscreen). It functions to strengthen the Wei Qi, release the exterior, transform turbidity, clear heat, and resolve toxicity while opening the sinuses via the Yang Ming. It is an excellent formula to prescribe for patients who are in high-risk areas or traveling; and for patients who are recovering from an illness that has depleted their Zheng Qi while leaving phlegm, heat and/or toxins in its wake. It is also extremely effective at keeping you well when you start to feel run down and in the beginnings of catching a wind cold or wind heat.
